i told him that i believe it is their policy not to let him have the mags, but i'm not actually that sure.

To be honest, the more I think about it, the more daft the situation becomes.
I can't see the point in not dropping off at least one magazine, say every month? Surely the whole point about being a Christian is to encourage those who stumble and fall.
I often see the local mob knocking doors, with the usual zero response situation.
Then you have one guy on the territory who struggles to attend meetings and he gets the "cold shoulder" treatment, because of a situation, now over two years old, that resulted in this man being disfellowshipped.
He was loyal to the congregation for almost 30 years!!! Yet comes across as a bit of an oddball and is rather eccentric in his ways, but relatively harmless. Like a child really - petulant at times, fun at others.
I'm not saying I see eye to eye with this wanna-be JW friend of mine in all areas, but I know he is making an effort and finding it hard to do so.
The elders must have hard hearts at his congregation.
Pathetic.
I think since he has been booted out, a representative has been sent twice maybe for a little chat. The emphasis of course is upon the sinner to repent and go crawling back. Oh that life were that simple eh
This guy has mental health issues, which range from neurosis to OCD. The "spirit appointed" elders can't even see this and therefore lack compassion and understanding.

Thanks for the info.
I thought that may be the case - it has been a while you see I can't remember all the rules and regulations!
I can't see him going to the KH for the mags so no doubt he will have to do without the vital crumbs from the spiritual banquet.
I could get them for him, but being as he is being rather nasty to me at the moment, I don't think I'll bother. It's all rather complicated. He views me as an apostate and I can't really deal with him on those terms.
Lifes tough isn't it.

So what is Debil da Satan doing these days...?
by upside/down ini mean (assuming dds as "christianity" teaches) what is his typical day like... what does an eons old entity with almost "almighty god" like intellect, and lots of power, legions of deemunz and do all day (of course i'm assuming his day never ends as he can fly about the earth and keep up with daylight)?.
where is his "rebutal" to all the one sided info we get in da bible... certainly he has a beef and a right to talk openly about it (like us).. please don't say he's out to get all the dubs (oops i meant the 144k).
he's already got them in his back pocket.. i really would like to know... .

1. college - not the be all and end all, but a basic education is necessary
2. career - hate that word - it sounds like such a dull cliche (sorry AA)
3. stable home and income - possible for some, not for all
4. marriage - optional
5. children - definitely optional, after careful consideration
6. lots of cool stuff like travel, hobbies, friendships - definitely, if you are fortunate enough to afford/find these things
7. death - maybe
I think there is far more to life than those 7 points personally. Existing on the fringe of this mad world is my course.

by neophobic inwell it wont be long now till i no longer have to put up with this riddicule, i somtimes ask myself why is it that people have to have a go at somthing somone posts, instead of just reading it and moving on, ive been watching brown boy's posting on this page http://www.jehovahs-witness.com/10/67918/8.ashx which i thought was interesting.
brown boy is saying the same year though a different month and if im a crazy freek he must also be a freek, i dont think he is but hes saying hes the faithful and discreet slave.
so i would like to suggest that you re open my posting and let me continue my line or show your true colours [being that if you dont like it then it aint seen] and stand your ground, or is there no such thing as free speech.
